What to Expect

At ExcelVets Robina, we believe that you should expect the highest quality veterinary care as well as outstanding service. We will deliver both exceptional health care for your pet and exceptional service to you. If you are coming to ExcelVets for the first time, you will know that you have made the right decision for both you and your pet by the time you leave out vet clinic.

 Annual Checkup

Your pet's yearly checkup will comprise a complete physical examination including:

  • Heart
  • Lungs
  • Eyes
  • Ears
  • Teeth
  • Abdomen
  • Body condition
  • Hair coat

 Dental Checkup

Even the pet with the best nature may object to teeth and gum brushing. If this occurs then an annual dental cleaning may be best. This check is not really any different to dental checks on our own teeth.

Diary

It is a really good idea to help you provide for your pet, if you maintain a diary for your pet. This should not only be used for tracking formal medical procedures and activities at the vet, but also for behavioural, dietary and physical changes (including toiletry) that you observe . It will be very useful to bring this with you when you visit us at ExcelVets. This detail which could possibly well seem irrelevant to you, may help us pinpoint the cause of an issue for your pet.

 Specialist Care

We recognise that although we can treat most problems at our vet clinic, we are not able to solve every pet problem. An occasional issue may arise where it is necessary to refer your pet to a specialist. We will acknowledge this occasion with you, discuss the ramifications and liaise and coordinate with the appropriate specialist to achieve the desired best outcome for your pet and you

 Separate Cat Hospital

At ExcelVets, we have provided a separate cat hospital so that our feline friends can recover in peace and tranquillity in air-conditioned comfort, away from the noises of their 'canine arch enemies'.

Separate Cat Waiting & Consult Room

So that our feline friends won’t feel harassed by nosey, drooling, tail wagging albeit unwanted super-friendly gestures from our other 4 legged friends, we have a separate cat waiting and consultation room.

Dog Hospital

The Dog Hospital is a bright airy room which is also air-conditioned and fully sound proofed so that they can snooze in comfort. They have their own separate recovery areas where they can relax and recuperate. There is access to an outside exercise area.

Comfort Room

We have a peaceful 'comfort' room for those special occasions when some private time is immeasurable.

 Scales

Please feel free to pop in during business hours and use our scales to weigh your pet regularly.
